Audit and Accounts Senior
Role Overview:
The role will primarily involve audit work (approximately 80% of the time) with the remaining 20% dedicated to preparing accounts and drafting tax computations. You will be responsible for executing company audits accurately and efficiently across a variety of clients, actively engaging with clients to obtain an understanding of their business and identifying potential areas for improvement.
Dealing primarily with owner managed businesses, the audit part of the role will involve
- Planning, to include risk assessment
- Completion of audit work, including supervising junior staff and reviewing their work
- Finalising of audit file
This will be carried out under the supervision of a director and training / CPD will be provided as necessary.

Candidate Requirements:
ACA/ACCA fully qualified
Minimum of 3 years of practice experience planning and working on audits of varying sizes

Accounts Senior
Role overview:
We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and competent Accounts Senior, to help us grow our busy Practice. The role will involve assisting with the following responsibilities:
- the planning of the workload for the accounts team
- ensuring that monthly workload targets are met
- meeting filing deadlines
- preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
- assist management with finalising accounts
- assisting and training more junior staff members
The successful candidate will work alongside the directors of the firm with an excellent opportunity for progression.
Candidate requirements:
The candidate will ideally be ACA / ACCA qualified with at lease 4 years practice experience.
A knowledge of Iris would be an advantage but is not a necessity.

Tax Senior
We are looking to recruit a Tax Senior to join our expanding team, to provide a tax compliance service to a broad portfolio of clients and assist with advisory and consultancy services.
You will have gained solid compliance experience within a similar mixed tax role, ideally with some exposure to advisory work, although this is not essential.
We are looking for a well-organised, enthusiastic, self-motivated team player, with a thorough, systematic approach, and the ability to work to deadlines.
You must be confident, outgoing, a good communicator and not afraid to work with clients.
Keen to use your practical tax experience, this is an outstanding career opportunity with potential to develop within the firm.
You will have at least 3 years relevant experience and ideally CTA qualified or part-qualified.
