Every year we select a charity that we feel we can support in a practical way and in fund raising. This year, 2018, we have chosen Smile for Joel.
Smile for Joel is a fund raising charity to support and help shattered and broken families who are victims of traumatic bereavement through homicide.

The story behind this charity has been brought very close to home and touched everyone here at Blackthorns because three members of the same family were tragically killed during the Tunisian terror attacks in June 2015.
During the next 12 months we will do all we can to raise money for this charity and stay close to the family.
We will be announcing very soon the date and venue for our annual quiz and there will be other activities during the year.
